"Wilson, our project qualified as a finalist for the bpi science award."

This above was contained in an email from Mr. Martin Gomez at the Ateneo Java Wireless Competency Center, CTC 213, Convergent Technologies Center, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, QC, MM. Where Martin was referring to the age old problem of Global Content distribution over Wide Area Networks via DNS shortest path -- without using the more expensive content delivery network (CDN) solutions.

Bitstop will be doing its annual maintenance and network upgrade on Dec 18-19, 2004. There will be a short window of downtime during that period. At the end of the upgrade, Bitstop will have migrated one of our E1 (2,048Kbps) to a DS3 (45Mbps) circuit from PLDT. We are also expecting dialup connection rates between Bitstop and PLDT LEC to be higher due to the transfer from copper pair to pure fiber connection.
